Why buy a bike from Bike Gallery?

Determining where you buy your next bicycle can sometimes be a challenge. Between specialty stores, Craigslist, and big box stores, there are many options. These are the Bike Gallery advantages that automatically come with every bicycle purchased from us:

Every dollar goes into the local economy

We’re a locally-owned, family business and we try to support other local businesses when making buying decisions. That means almost every dollar of your purchase will stay in the Portland area and be quickly recirculated. A healthy local economy is important to all of us.

Right Fit

Getting the right sized bicycle is just as important as choosing the right type of bicycle. We carefully fit you based on your unique body geometry and fine tune the bicycle seat and handlebars are properly positioned. We won’t just sell you what we have on the floor: It is our priority to find the bike that fits you and your lifestyle perfectly. Our goal is to get more people on bikes more often. If you’re not happy with your bicycle, you won’t cycle more. Click here to find out more about our fitting.

Training

At the time of the bike sale, we will provide you with expert advice on how to properly use and care for your new bicycle, and will continue to do so throughout its life. Do you know how to shift, fix a flat, carry gear or pump your tires? We offer frequent mechanical and cycling skills classes throughout the year. Click here to learn more.

Bicycle Wellness Program

After a few weeks of riding, your bicycle will begin to “settle-in” and will most likely need some minor adjustments. We provide minor tune-ups for the first 6 months to make sure your bike is perfect. There is no appointment needed – just stop by any of our locations for service while you wait.

Trade-in Program

You can trade in your old bicycle towards a new one that fits you perfectly. We will even trade in department-store brands. Click here to find out more about our Trade-in Program.

Warranty

We stand behind every bike we sell. Additionally, we honor life-time warranties on most of the bikes we sell (some freeride and bmx bikes have different warranties, contact your local store for more information.) In the unlikely event that something goes wrong with your bike, you can be assured we will make it right. In addition, if there is ever a recall (which happens from time-to-time), we will personally contact you to make a replacement.
