On June 14th, a handful of Bike Gallery employees and our significant others gathered at the sidelines of the Portland Pride Parade 2009 to show support and have a blast while doing it. We passed out bike pins and coupons to every biker that passed by, and screamed and hollered for each float. We spotted Congressman Earl Blumenauer amidst the festivities, and Bike Gallery owner Jay Graves offered to adorn him with a rainbow feather boa (which Earl politely declined).

Our pink and rainbow T-shirts were specially printed for the occasion. People in the parade and on the sidelines pointed and smiled when they saw our shirts. It is great to know that people got to see that Bike Gallery is an open, welcoming, and FUN! business.
