Here are a couple of questions we get commonly asked by customers who are interested getting a bike fitting.
At Bike Gallery, bike fitting is the process of adjusting, moving, and aligning the bicycle while simultaneously educating the customer about cycling form. Bicycles are adjustable. Seat height, seat fore and aft, handlebar shape, brake lever position, stem length and angle, and stem angle and height can all be adjusted. Although your body is not adjustable it can be analyzed, understood, and fit to your bicycle.
Our fitting process will assess your flexibility, injury history, athletic history, riding style, and goals in order to determine your optimal riding position and resulting in a more efficient and more comfortable riding position.
Proper Bike fitting requires technical expertise and training. Our Fit repecialists apply an understanding of body alignment, anatomy, and physiology to build a foundation cycling knowledge. That expertise removes the guesswork and results in a perfect union between body and bicycle.
Our program was developed based on nearly 2 decades of experience. All Bike Gallery fitting technicians receive a minimum of 20 hours of training before they work with customers.
Our staff takes great care to assure that you are properly fit to your bicycle and we guarantee for one year. If for any reason you don’t feel you are benefitting from your Bike Gallery fitting, we want to know. Call us and we'll work hard to make it right.
We offer several fit services, so you can get the fitting that best suits your needs. A menu of services is listed on our Fit Services page, with a detailed description for each service. Still not sure? Contact our staff and they can help recommend the right service for you.
