Bought a 2016 Trail 3 for a great clearance price and couldn't be happier. Cannodale makes quality bikes and I really like ride/feel/look . The Trail 2, 3, and 4 are perfect for enthusiasts that want affordable reliability. They great on community bike trails, but will handle more technical trails when called on to do so. The Rockshox 30 silver front forks that came on the Trail 3 suit my needs fine but my wife wanted air adjustable forks so we spent an extra $200 and got her the Trail 2. AS A BONUS WE WERE ABLE TO PUT 2.8 PLUS TIRES ON THESE BIKES. Don't let anyone tell you they won't fit, they do and WOW...what a ride. You can run the 2.8's down at 16-20lbs of air pressure and smooth out the bumps. Not many bikes in this price range will accommodate plus ties. Brandon at Pedal was fantastic and literally spent hours with us to ensure my wife and I got the bikes we wanted, with the options we wanted at an affordable price.
